How to do :

How to Make a Teddy Bear Keychain


What you need : 

1. Hvs paper for pattern

2. Flannel

3. Dacron

4. Doll eyes

5. Curling rope

6. Keychain

7. Ribbon

8. Needle and thread

9. Scissors

10. Glue gun


Steps :

1. First of all, we make the basic pattern of the teddy bear keychain on a piece of hvs paper or book paper. The size can be adjusted as desired. The basic pattern for a teddy bear keychain is a pattern of the head, body, legs, muzzle, and ears.

2. The next step is to apply the basic pattern of the teddy bear keychain on the flannel. Choose a bright color flannel. And after the flannel is cut according to the pattern, the result looks like in the picture.

3. The next step is to glue pieces of flannel to make the muzzle of the bear. After that, sew with the feston stitch technique. Make a straight stitch and attach the circle to the center.

4. The next step is to attach the rope by inserting it into the key chain as shown in the picture and then attaching it to the doll's head pattern.

5. Next, sew the teddy bear head pattern. Use the feston stitch technique. Sewing it starts from the bottom. Next, put glue gun on the top and attach the ear. After that, continue the sewing process and leave about 1.5 cm for the dacron entry hole. Then insert the dacron with the help of chopsticks or a skewer and continue sewing to close the opening of the dacron.

6. After that attach the pieces of flannel to the ears. Glue the doll's eyes. For the doll's eyes, you can use flannel.

7. The next step is to make the legs of the teddy bear. Sew with the feston stitch technique then insert the dacron and the result will look like in the picture.

8. The next step is to make a skirt. Fold or pleat a 3 cm wide ribbon. Customize. After that, attach the skirt to the teddy bear's body. Glue a small ribbon on the top of the skirt so that the shape of the skirt looks like a real skirt.

9. The last step is to combine the body, head, and legs of the teddy bear by means of glue gun. Attach the head and legs to the teddy bear's body. Finished.

The teddy bear keychain made of flannel is finished and ready to be attached to cabinet keys, house keys, motorcycle ignition keys or for bag decoration.
